NOTE:
  1. High Season is 1 October to 30 April
    Low Season is 1 May to 30 September
  2. All our rooms have superb mountain views. Our 20 Mountain View Rooms are located in the main lodge complex and have panoramic views across the Waimakariri valley and mountains. Our 4 Alpine Lodges (opened December 2004) are nestled in a beech forest clearing and are havens of luxury for those who want to pay for a special treat. They have spas and also have panoramic views.
  3. Tariff is in New Zealand Dollars
  4. Tariffs are valid until 30 September 2011.
  5. Tariff includes 12.5 % Government Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  6. Group and family rates may be available on application direct to the Lodge.
  7. Child rates (2-12 years) half adult rate when sharing a room with two adults.
  8. Conference facilities are available including conference rooms and "exclusive use" options in the low season
  9. We generally require a 2 night minimum stay for guests arriving between the dates of 20 December to 1 March.
    Note: A minimum 2 night stay is required December 20 to Jan 10, February 1 to March 1. One night stays may be booked if that is all that is available-please check with reservations.

  10. Statutory holidays - Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26), New Years Day (January 1) and January 2, Good Friday and Easter Sunday a surcharge of NZ $80 per person applies. 
     

RESERVATIONS are recommended. We encourage a 2-3 night stay to give you a full day or two of wilderness activities at the Lodge - particulary if you wish to join in with a sheep tour.

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION: 25% deposit on your Visa or Mastercard to secure your reservation, non-refundable if cancellation is made within 30 days of arrival date. Full tariff is payable if cancellation is made within 7 days unless there are extenuating circumstances.

TARIFF INCLUDES:
  • STYLISH ACCOMMODATION in the Lodge's 20 Mountain View rooms or in our 4 newer Alpine Lodges. All rooms have private bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, fresh fruit and flowers, telephone and magnificent views.
  • Your DINNER CHOICE from our 4 course gourmet menu. Vegetarian options and special food requirements are catered for.
  • FULL BREAKFAST of continental and home style cooked breakfast in our Mt Rolleston Restaurant.
  • THE INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE in our shorter guided nature and farm adventures ( 2 daily each 1 to 1 1/2 hours duration ). The adventures vary daily to suit visitors' interests, weather and wildlife and may include;Beech forest, mistletoe, rifleman and bellbird discovery walk...Tussock, thorn forest and waterbird wilderness walk...Merino sheep mustering, old fashioned blade shearing where you get to assist...Southern Cross night sky guided walks.
  • USE OF THE LODGE FACILITIES Our network of 30km of forest, tussock and mountain nature walks and access throughout the 2400 hectare (6,000 acre) Lodge property, Satellite broadband internet for guest complimentary use and complimentary guest washers and driers for your laundry. 
  • OUR LONGER HALF AND FULL DAY GUIDED WILDERNESS TRIPS are charged additionally. High country picnic lunches can be prepared (extra charge) for you to enjoy in the field or you can enjoy a gourmet restaurant lunch (extra charge). Transfers to and from the Tranz Alpine train are available by prior arrangement ($28 per person each way).
